PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and readily perform operation for landing and reduce even a load on an aquatic animal by smoothly sucking the aquatic animal in a preserve, etc., exclusively from the head thereof in a guide member for the aquatic animal. SOLUTION: This guide member for the aquatic animal is provided with a channel having both an opened tip and an opened base end and making the openings at both ends communicate with the interior. A sucking means is connected to the opening of the base end to thereby suck the aquatic animal together with water from the opening at the tip and deliver the aquatic animal and water from the opening of the base end. At least the vicinity of the opening of the tip has no metallic luster.
