摘要 An invention refers to the area of generation and transformation of electrical energy, in particular the low-turn electric machines applied in direct drive wind power plants transforming the kinetic energy of the wind into the electrical one. The purpose of an invention is an increase of gust load factor and enlargement of adjustment opportunities of the rotational speed under stable operational conditions of the generator. In the asynchronous multipole generator (fig.1), which contains a stator (1) with primary (2) and secondary (3) windings and a windingless tooth-like rotor (4), the terminals of the secondary winding (3) are closed by capacitors (5 - 7). The capacitance C of capacitors (5 - 7) varies discretely with a step Cd by the command from the control unit (8) connected to the phase terminals of secondary winding (3) and adjusted for the frequency f2 of AC voltage, the value of frequency f2 being found by calculation for each step. The structure of the asynchronous low-turn generator offered allows to enlarge the gust load factor. At the same time, application of the generator in the direct drive wind power plant permits to increase the energy efficiency, and, correspondingly, stepping-up of produced electric energy is achieved.
