PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deposition of foreign substance on a photosensitive layer in the coating and the formation of the photosensitive layer on a supporting body. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of a planographic printing plate, the inside static pressure PA, PD, PC and PF of a coating chamber part 32, a drying chamber part 34, a coating casing 20 and a drying furnace part 22, respectively, satisfies a relation of PF>PC>PA>=PD>P0 (P0 is an atmospheric pressure) by static pressure control apparatuses 44 to 50 and the difference of the pressure between PC and PA is controlled to >=1.0 mmAq. As a result, the flow-in of uncleaned air from the outside into the coating chamber part 32 is suppressed and simultaneously the flow-in of the air in the coating chamber part 32 into the coating casing 20 through an opening part such as an inlet part 40 is suppressed and the flow-in of air in the drying chamber part 34 and air in the outside of the apparatus into the drying furnace 22 is also suppressed at the same time while the flow-in of uncleaned air from the outside into the drying chamber part 34 is suppressed. |
