<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for a card comprising a sheet A for information to be recorded or having a layer for information to be recorded and a second sheet B to be laminated as a counterpart to the sheet A through an adhesive layer C, the face, in contact with the adhesive layer C, of either or both of the two sheets A and B being transparently printed, with such a contrivance that no transparent print remains unremoved from the second sheet B when the sheet B is released. SOLUTION: In the base material for a card which is structured of the sheet A and the sheet B laminated together through the adhesive layer C in such a way that the face, in contact with the adhesive layer C, of the sheet A or the face, in contact with the adhesive layer C, of the sheet B or both faces are transparently printed, the relationship among the interlayer strengths Sa and Sb of the sheet A and the sheet B and the adhesive strength Sc of the adhesive layer C is represented by Sa>Sb, Sc>Sb within the range of from a normal temperature to a temperature at which the base material for a card becomes deformed. In addition, the sheet B is a void-containing type film itself or a multilayered film having a void-containing type film layer.</p> |
