PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant film having fine projections excellent in magnetic conversion characteristics as a magnetic recording medium and also excellent in durability. SOLUTION: The heat-resistant film has projections having a structure such that fine particles with a mean particle size of 0.005-0.1μm are fixed to at least the single surface of a film comprising an aromatic polyamide.
