PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cordless electrically-driven tool which can easily control the number of rotations of a motor in the low to high speed range, improve the tightening performance or the cutting performance, reduce the vibration and the noise, and reduce the size and the weight thereof. SOLUTION: This cordless electrically-driven tool comprises a motor 3, an output shaft 5 connected to the motor 3 via a gear box 4 or the like, a motor drive circuit 7 and a control unit 8 of the drive circuit, a chargeable battery 11 is used for a drive power source, and the motor 3 is a brushless DC motor.
