PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic membrane module in which a flow passage between the adjacent membrane elements can be prevented from being clogged. SOLUTION: This ceramic membrane module is constituted so that an element assembly 13 for filtering the water to be treated is disposed in a casing. The assembly 13 is constituted of a plurality of tip-closed slender straight and tubular ceramic-made membrane elements 16 and a bundling plate 17 for bundling/fixing the elements 16 arranged in the horizontal direction. The elements 16 are arrayed zigzag so that the distances between the adjacent elements 16 in the horizontal and vertical directions are made longer as it goes from a first area R1 formed in the upper part of the assembly 13 to a third area R3 formed in the lower part. The casing has a concentrated water discharging port 30 for discharging the concentrated water from the lower part.
