PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping bag which is lightweight, has a simple structure, can be easily carried in a finely folded state, enables one to position the bag easily and properly in a shopping basket in a super market or the like, can control the unevenness of its shape properly to improve the appearance and to ease the walk with it when goods are contained after shopping, and, therefore, has excellent functions in handiness, the function as a shopping basket bag, suitability for containing goods and being carried and the like. SOLUTION: This bag has a boxy shape which has roughly the same size with the inner size of a shopping basket used in a super market or the like and is wider in the upper portion. This bag has a bag main body 1 which has an opening at the upper face and is made of canvas, and shoulder bands/carry handles 12 which are attached to the opposing side clothes of the bag main body and whose length can be controlled.
