FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: gear includes measurement aids 1, 2 with clip 5 for installation of gear on measured rail 4. Clip 5 carries horizontal rests 10, 11, 12 directed in opposition and securing stable position of gear relative to measured rail thanks to elastic deformation of clip proper. Distance Y between ends of rests 10, 11, 12 and moment of inertia I of cross-section of clip 5 are found from relations Y=B-D-1.0 mm; where B is width of rail foot, mm; D is negative tolerance for value of width of rail foot, mm; E is modulus of longitudinal elasticity of material of clip, MPa. EFFECT: diminished labor input into manufacture of measuring gear. 3 dwg
