PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply with the number of parts reduced constitute a roller having a jacket chamber for sealing a heating medium of gas and liquid phases. SOLUTION: A plurality of holes to be the jacket chamber are formed in the shaft center direction in the thick wall part of a roller main body to penetrate it. The end face of one journal is integrated with one end face of the roller main body and the end face of a ring to be fixed to the other journal is integrated with the other end face of the roller main body respectively by face-joining to seal each end part of the jacket chamber airtightly. Each journal is supported on a machine base through a bearing. By the integration by the face-joining, airtight sealing can be done as compared with the integration by welding, and the number of the parts to be used can be reduced. The length of work time can be curtailed as compared with a case by welding. |
