PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine provided with a filtering function without having bad effects on discoloring or fading in clothing. SOLUTION: As a final stored water rinsing process is started, washing water is injected to an initial water level H1 in an outer tank 2. An inner tank 7 starts normal and reverse rotation, and screened water is injected from a subsidiary supply water port 43 as the inner tank 7 is rotated normally and reversely. In this constitution, injection parts of the screened water into the inner tank 7 are changed corresponding to passage of time. Screened water is thus uniformly supplied through water holes 8 in the inner tank 7 to the whole clothing attached to an inner surface of the inner tank 7. Color change or fading in the clothing is thus prevented.
