PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that in the conventional controller, when a combine harvester carries out reaping and threshing operation while traveling at a speed lower than a standard speed, a blast winnower and a chaff sieve in control operation severely cause hunting. SOLUTION: This separation controller for a thresher for a combine harvester has constitution that in a thresher for a combine harvester with which the return amount of second grain is detected and separation can be controlled on the basis of the detected information, when the combine harvester works while traveling at a speed lower than a standard speed, a detection delay for recognizing the increase of the amount of second grain returns is made longer than an ordinary detection time and output from a control means to an actuator.
