SUBSTANCE: device consists of a cylindrical conducting barrel with a propelled solid attached to the metal body of the breech, annular explosive charge and a cylindrical destructible conductor insulated from the breech body by an insulator, and from the central electrode by an insulator, solenoid and insulator.
