PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an in-line type injection screw fitted to the foam molding of a thermoplastic resin for obtaining a uniform thermoplastic resin foamed molded article generating no foaming irregularity in the thermoplastic resin foamed molded article. SOLUTION: In the in-line type injection screw for the foam molding of the thermoplastic resin, the ratio h2 /h1 (compression ratio) of the groove depth h2 in the feed zone of the screw and the groove depth h1 of the metering zone positioned on the leading end side of the screw is not more than 1.5. |
