PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending and stretching auxiliary implement for the waist compact, simple in structure and easy to put on. SOLUTION: This bending and stretching auxiliary implement is provided with an accessory case 2 having a pair of case bodies 3 arranged on the both lateral sides of the waist, and a cover, and a ratchet wheel and a spiral spring 6 are almost coaxially arranged and fixed. One of the spiral spring 6 and a wire material holding part 3a is provided with an upper body supporting arm 20, and the other is provided with a thigh supporting arm 25. The upper body supporting arm 20 comprises a vertically movable rising part 20a extending upward from each lateral side of the waist part, and a chest receiving part 20b adjustable in the lateral width and curved forward from the upper end of the rising part 20a. The thigh supporting arm 25 comprises a hanging part 25a extending downward, and a thigh pad 26 provided at the lower end part of the hanging part 25a and capable of abutting on the front face side of the thigh part. A belt 11 is provided for holding the accessory case 2 to the waist part. |
