The information is processed by circuits 9 and 19, and the road surface height and the obstacle distance are sensed to a person by intermittent periods of tapping devices 10 and 20 intermittently and lightly tapping the left/right of the feet 11. When the road surface height sensor 4 senses the raising of the right foot, a succession action is started. This device allows the raised foot to recognize the obstacle distance of the foot by tapping and allows the other grounding pivot foot to recognize the road surface height by the tapping so that the person can safely walk while recognizing the state around the feet.
