PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for smoothly, finely and efficiently machining a rough surface to manufacture a mechanical element parts such as a gear having a high surface pressure strength. SOLUTION: Mechanical element parts 2 such as a gear having a rough surface after cutting, grinding and the cold work of the shot peening and nozzles 20 for injecting the mixture material of the pressure medium such as water and the abrasives in a jet part 19 fed through a pressure tank are arranged in the device 1 with the predetermined space. The work 2 can be moved in the vertical direction with the rotation of a motor 9 and an air cylinder 14 provided in a lower part of the device 1. The mixture material is injected to the work 2 at the predetermined pressure from the nozzle 20 inside of the device 1 to fine machining of the surface of the work.
