PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of performing works of watering and stopping water automatically for saving labor. SOLUTION: This automatic watering and water-stopping device in paddy fields is provided by joining a wire (2) with a crank (1), and moving a water- stopping shutter (3) up and down by rotating a motor (8) for performing the watering and water-stopping. Also, by installing a 24 hour timer, the motor is actuated at a desired time every day, and at the same time the shutter is stopped by a limit switch (6) on being ascended and by a limit switch (7) on being descended. Thereby, it becomes possible to perform the watering and water-stopping automatically at the desired time.
