FIELD: sealing devices for revolving shafts of pumps, machines and equipment in chemical, oil-refining and other industries. SUBSTANCE: surfaces of friction rings are provided with circular grooves of half-round section for forming tore-shaped cavity during assembly where tore-shaped ring engageable with friction ring over surface of said cavity is mounted. As a result, area of friction pair is increased and friction rings are aligned, thus decreasing vibration, radial and angular misalignment of friction rings and consequently reducing leakage of medium. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; reduction of leakage of medium. 2 dwg |
