METHOD FOR REFORMING SLAG AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a promotion of utilization of slag and metal by reforming/ treating the slag and the metal to enhance the safety and quality of the slag and the quality of the metal. SOLUTION: The slag is fed to a drum 22 of a magnetic separator 20 to magnetically deposit the metal contained in the slag onto the rotating drum 22 to separate it. The slag is made to collide against an oscillating plate 28 provided in a splashing direction of the rotating drum 22 to recover it and the recovered slag is crushed/treated by an impact type crusher 30. After lime and water are added to the crushed slag, it is fed to a single or a double paddle- shaft type hot water treating device 40 having a constitution that vapor flows only outside or outside and into the paddle shaft and a hot water treatment is carried out while stirring it to obtain the reformed slag.
