<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine never to make a player lose interest in the variable display of discrimination information. SOLUTION: When a condition for allowing the variable display of patterns is satisfied, the control for executing the variable display of patterns in a special pattern display device 9 and drawing a result of the display based on the result of the win/failure judgement can be executed. When a plurality of game balls are detected by a starting ball detector 17, it is determined that the condition for the variable display is satisfied. As a result, the frequency of the variable display is fewer than in a game machine in which the variable display of patterns is executed whenever a game ball is detected, and therefore, a player's interest in the variable display of patterns will not be lost. Further, the burden in executing the display control for the variable display of patterns can be reduced, and a new attractive game can be provided in which emphasis is laid on the detection of a game ball by the starting ball detector 17 for variably displaying patterns.</p> |
