PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify the user of a water cleaner of the most suitable water cleaning cartridge on the basis of the information on the quality of water. SOLUTION: An operator who inputs and stores data into or in a computer sets the standard levels of trihalomethanes and chorine being the items of water qualities and makes the computer store these levels. The same or another operator acquires analytical information on every item of water quality in each water purification plant by access through the Internet and makes the computer periodically receive the information. According to the installed program, the computer compares the received analytic information on every water quality in each water purification plant with the standard levels of trihalomethanes and chlorine, selects the types of cartridges fit for the results of the comparison and for the users who use city water having qualities exceeding the standard levels, and displays them on the screen. The operator notifies the users to change the existent cleaning cartridges for ones desirable against high- concentration trihalomethanes.
