PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element assembly in which a plurality of membrane elements are disposed in high density while exactly keeping a prescribed distance between the adjacent membrane elements and the exchanging work of the membrane element is made easy. SOLUTION: Disk-like spacers 41 are fit individually to the base end parts of a plurality of straight and tubular ceramic-made membrane elements 16, abutted on one another and stuck to one another integrally with the base end parts of the elements 16 by an adhesive material layer 21, so that the elements 16 are bundled and fixed. As a result, the elements 16 can be supported in a cantilever method by the layer 21 and the prescribed distance between the adjacent elements 16 can be kept with the corresponding spacer 41.
