FIELD: manufacture of fittings; shutting- off working media in various industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed shut- off gate valve has body with welded seats and wedge-lock made in form of two self-setting plates with external sealing surfaces. Wedge lock is connected with spindle performing translational motion. Spacer ring is mounted between plates in grooves. Center of inner diameter of spacer ring is shifted towards bottom of body relative to center of diameter of through hole found in seat. Ratio of inner diameter of spacer ring to diameter of through hole ranges from 0.7 to 0.98. EFFECT: enhanced tightness of gate valve. 4 cl, 1 dwg |
