FIELD: fire fighting equipment. SUBSTANCE: fire fighting unit has vehicle, fire suppressor supplying device mounted on vehicle, hitches, and working fluid source. Fire suppressor supplying device has manipulator and nozzle device mounted thereon. Compressor, mixer, doser and source of additional fire suppressors are mounted on fire fighting unit. Manipulator with tanks is placed on rotary platform, and compressor, mixer and doser are disposed on vehicle chassis. Nozzle device is made in the form of multiple-jet ejector with hydraulic device arranged above it and adapted for providing impact precompression of flame suppressing mixture. Indicator-peat layer thickness detector is mounted on manipulator and adapted for detecting peat thickness within irrigation zone. Said detector is equipped with device for automatic correction of fire suppressing liquid pressure at injector outlet end. Ejector has set of nozzles of different diameter and configuration to provide for penetration of liquid jets to predetermined depth. Fire fighting unit of such construction may be used suppressing forest fires in difficult-to-reach places. EFFECT: increased fire suppressing efficiency by intensified cooling of fire zones and oxygen replacement, reduced consumption of fire suppressing liquid and forming in fire suppression zone of fireproofing barrier from substances introduced into peat layer. 3 cl, 2 dwg |
