<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cleaning ammonia-hydrogen peroxide- containing wastewater in an industrially advantageous manner. SOLUTION: In one embodiment, (1) ammonia-hydrogen peroxide-containing wastewater is supplied to a hydrogen peroxide decomposition column and brought into contact with a hydrogen peroxide decomposition catalyst to decompose a part of hydrogen peroxide, (2) the treated water from the hydrogen peroxide decomposition column is supplied to an ammonia diffusion column and subjected to ammonia diffusion treatment to diffuse ammonia and, subsequently, (3) the treated water from the ammonia diffusion column is supplied to a hydrogen peroxide decomposition tank and reacted with sodium hydrogen sulfite to reduce and decompose residual hydrogen peroxide.</p> |
