<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier which can effectively carry out dehumidification/recycle process by preventing unnecessary energy loss and consumption of compressed air, and to provide a control method therefor. SOLUTION: The dehumidifier comprises one or more containers which contain an adsorbent and carry out successively a dehumidification process for removing a water content contained in a fluid and a recycle process for removing the adsorbed water content by heating the adsorbent after adsorption of water content, a valve assembly electronically controlled to feed the fluid containing the water content to the containers in the dehumidification process and to provide dry air to the containers in the recycle process, a temperature sensor to sense the heat of adsorption generated in adsorption of the water content by the adsorbent, and a control part which senses the termination of the dehumidification process by the internal temperature change of the containers sensed by the temperature sensor and shifts the dehumidification process to the recycle process by controlling the valve assembly when the termination of the dehumidification process is sensed.</p> |
