<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the attachment of a name plate to a molded product. SOLUTION: The production serial number printer is provided with a laser marker 2 which irradiates a workpiece (a product to be printed) with a laser beam to print the name plate, a workpiece feed body 3 which comprises a tray type working bench 3b having a workpiece placing part on an upper surface and a main body 3a to guide the working bench 3b to a printing position, a sequencer 4 which controls the workpiece feed body 3 and the laser marker 2 by a predetermined sequence when a start button is pushed, and a personal computer 9 for data inputs which registers a data format to be printed in the laser marker. When the start button 2a is pushed, the sequencer 4 carries out a series of control of the feed of the workpiece, laser printing, and the taking out of the workpiece.</p> |
