Method for the detection and quantitative determination of anti-RNA antibodi es in a test fluid of patients with an auto-im- mune disease by contacting RNA with the test fluid by which a reaction occur s between the RNA and anti-RNA antibodies pres- ent in the test fluid after which a qualitative and/or quantitative determination of the antibodies reacting with the RNA provides information on the course of the disease.
