PURPOSE: A method for displaying the state information of a cellular phone through a monitor is provided to enable a user to easily check the state of the cellular phone by displaying the state information of the cellular phone during computer work. CONSTITUTION: In the state connecting the cellular phone with a cellular phone USB(Universal Serial Bus) cable connected to the monitor, a display function of the cellular phone is initiated(S1). If the state information is occurred in the cellular phone, the state information is transferred to the monitor through the cellular phone USB cable(S2). The monitor outputs an interrupt signal by receiving the state information(S4). The monitor analyzes the contents of the state information outputted from the cellular phone and displays it on a display device of the monitor(S8).
