PURPOSE: A telescopic device of a steering column in a vehicle is provided to prevent shaking a steering wheel and to improve durability of parts by making a bush as one body for closing the bush to an outer peripheral of a tube and inserting the bush to the inside of a slot of the tube. CONSTITUTION: A telescopic device of a steering column for a vehicle comprises a hollow tube having a long slot; a housing mounted for moving the tube axially; a hollow mounting part extended on the circumference of the housing; a stopper(19) coupled with a screw to the inside of the mounting part; a spring supported to the stopper; and a bush(15) contacted to the tube by the spring. The telescopic device is composed of a planar adhering face(17) formed opposite with the tube and a tapered portion(16) formed levelly on the outside of the slot of the tube for closing with the adhering face. A guide protrusion is projected on the adhering face of the bush for inserting into the inside of the slot.
