<p>PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for displaying images in a plasma display panel are provided to reduce the generation of a pseudo-outline of a low gradation region by reducing a temporal difference between LSB(Least Significant Bit) and LSB+1 of subfield data. CONSTITUTION: Three subfield groups(G1,G2,G3) are formed with a plurality of subfields. The subfield is formed with three rest periods as vertical blanking periods. The rest period of the first group(G1), the rest period of the second group(G2), and the rest period of the third group(G3) are located at each end portion of the subfield groups(G1,G2,G3). The first subfield group(G1) and the third subfield group(G3) have the same subfield structure. The first subfield group(G1) and the third subfield group(G3) are formed with six subfields, respectively. The second subfield group(G2) is formed with two subfields.</p> |
