PURPOSE: A structure for supporting a fan of an air conditioner is provided to support the fan to rotate with low cost. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner includes a chassis(52) installed on a wall; a fan(54) placed on a front side of the chassis in lateral direction; a motor(56) rotating the fan; and a heat exchanger placed on a front side and an upper side of the fan. A structure comprises a bearing(80) connected with a rotary axis(54a) on one end of the fan; a bearing case(70) having the bearing inserted and mounted thereon, and having a groove part(76) formed on a periphery thereof; and a supporting unit(60) having a first supporting part(62) and a second supporting part(66) fixed to the groove part of the bearing case to support the bearing case. The first supporting part is formed protrusively from and integrally with the front side of the chassis, and has a first groove part(62a) formed to cover a rear part of the bearing case. The second supporting part is joined to the first supporting part, and has a second groove part(66a) formed correspondingly with the first groove part to cover a front part of the bearing case. The bearing case is put between the first groove part and the second groove part. The second supporting part is fixed to the first supporting part a coupling unit such as a hook or a bolt. |
