PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to reduce a driving time by using a data transmission control portion for controlling data of an input line. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel(38) includes discharge cells(31) of mxn number, scan/sustain electrode lines(Y1 to Ym), a common sustain electrode line(Z), and address electrode lines(X11 to X1n,X21 to X2n). A scan/sustain driving portion(34) is connected with the scan/sustain electrode lines(Y1 to Y(m/2), Y(m/2)+1 to Ym) of an upper block(37) and a lower block(39). A common sustain driving portion(36) is connected with the common sustain electrode line(Z). The first address driving portion(32A) is connected with the address electrode lines(X11 to X1n) of the upper block(37). The second address driving portion(32B) is connected with the address electrode lines(X21 to X2n) of the lower block(39). A data transmission control portion(40) supplies data of an input line(IL) to the first and the second address driving portions(32A,32B). |
