DEVICE FOR DETECTING MOTION USING PSD SENSOR

PURPOSE: A device for detecting motion using a PSD(Position Sensitive Detectors) sensor is provided to transmit the real time data precisely measured the 3-dimensional fast motion through the network and offer a cheap and popular motion detection device to recognize the 3-dimensional fast motion information. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of LEDs(21-23) is installed to the positions different with each other and respectively emits the light of a different frequency. A position detector(30) detects the motion by receiving the lights emitted in the different frequencies from the LEDs(21-23). A plurality of lenses(41,42) respectively collects the lights from the LEDs(21-23) by installing between the LEDs(21-23) and the motion detector(30). A PC(50) detects the 3-dimensional motion and displays the position by receiving the motion capture data detected from the motion detector(30). The motion detector(30) comprises the first and the second PSD(31,32) detecting the motion of the LED by receiving the lights collected from the lenses(41,42), an A/D(Analog/Digital) converter(33) converting the motion data into the digital data, and a USB(Universal Serial Bus) interface(34).
