APPARATUS FOR REMOVING ALIEN MATERIAL FROM FIBROUS RAW COTTON

PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing an alien material from a fibrous raw cotton is provided to easily and rapidly remove the alien material, and to maximize the quality of the raw cotton by monitoring the state of the raw cotton under the processing in situ. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing an alien material from a fibrous raw cotton includes a blower(1), a rectangular-shaped deliverance duct(2) for delivering the raw cotton fed from the blower(1), cameras(5) for monitoring the state of the raw cotton passing through the deliverance duct(2), an air tank(6) for storing a compressed air, a plurality of air nozzles connected to the air tank(6), an exhaust placed under the air nozzles to exhaust the alien material, and an alien material collector(9) placed under the exhaust to collect the alien material. In this structure, the air nozzles are operated wholly or selectively depending upon the signals sensed by the cameras(5) to remove the alien material.
