SERVO TRACK RECORDING METHOD AND SYSTEM OF HARD DISK DRIVE

PURPOSE: A servo track recording method and system of a hard disk drive are provided to offer an inexpensive and stable servo track recording system. CONSTITUTION: A reference disk having a plurality of tracks including servo information and a servo-copy disk(120) are combined with a spindle motor of a servo track recording system. The servo information of the reference disk is read with a reading head(110) of the servo track recording system. The servo information is recorded in the copy disk using a recording head of the servo track recording system before the servo-copy disk is integrated into a hard disk assembly. The reference disk and the servo-copy disk are rotated using a hydromechanical bearing spindle. The servo information is recorded in the copy disk in such a manner that a plurality of burst signals for judging the position of a drive head are recorded in the disk.
