METHOD FOR MOLECULAR PRESS DEHYDRATION OF PLANT TISSUE USING SOLID PHASE WATER-SOLUBLE POLYMER AS DEHYDRATING AGENT

PURPOSE: A method for the molecular press dehydration of a plant tissue using a solid phase water-soluble polymer as a dehydrating agent is provided, thereby achieving increased molecular press dehydration effects using the smaller amount of a polymer, and consequently obtaining high quality of a dried plant tissue. CONSTITUTION: A method for the molecular press dehydration of a plant tissue using a solid phase water-soluble polymer as a dehydrating agent comprises mixing a solid phase water-soluble polymer capable of causing cytolysis of a plant tissue with a plant tissue, and dehydrating and centrifuging the plant tissue, wherein the solid phase is crystal or powder; the water-soluble polymer is at least one compound selected from polyethyleneglycol, gum arabic, arabinogalactan, egg white, milk protein or soybean protein; the dehydration is carried out at 45 to 65 deg. C; and the plant tissue to be dehydrated is sliced or cut in a direction along which the polymer move easily.
