CALCULATING SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING CORE OF NUCLEAR POWER STATION

PURPOSE: A calculating system for protecting a core of a nuclear power station is provided to prevent the stopping of the nuclear power station by performing a CEA calculating algorithm and a core protection calculating algorithm in a same process. CONSTITUTION: Four CEA multiplexes(15-18) convert an analog signal which is position data of respective CEAs(11-14) detected by lead switch position transmitters(11a-14b) into a digital signal to output it. Core protection calculator channels(19-22) input the signal outputted from the respective CEA multiplexes(15-18) to monitor the position of the CEAs(11-14) and output an operation stop signal of a nuclear reactor according to a position change. Operator's modules(23-26) display the position data of the CEAs(11-14) corresponding to the respective CEA multiplexes(15-18) to control them.
