PURPOSE: A diagnosing apparatus for a breakdown of a vehicle is provided to identify the breakdown of the vehicle by indicating breakdowns of several devices during traveling and to offer correct data for the breakdown by storing data. CONSTITUTION: A diagnosing apparatus for a breakdown of a vehicle includes a main control unit(10), a memory unit(30), an output unit(50) and a power unit(40). The main control unit receives breakdown information through a connector(20) connected to an ECU(Electronic Control Unit) and processes breakdown information. The memory unit stores several data inputted through the connector. The output unit outputs a signal of the breakdown by operating data stored in the memory unit. The power unit supplies power to each unit. The output unit has a monitor to show breakdown information, a buzzer, and a lamp. An interface unit(60) is connected to the memory unit to transmit stored data to external devices. Thereby, cost and time for repair are reduced by repairing the vehicle after identifying the breakdown in real time. The vehicle is repaired by repair information transmitted and received through the Internet.
