PURPOSE: An ice maker for refrigerator is provided to allow a user to easily and manually operate an ice making tray. CONSTITUTION: An ice maker includes a supporting frame comprising a front side and a rear side, and having stopper holes(32a,32b) formed on the rear side; an ice making tray(20) supported between the front side and the rear side of the frame to rotate; and a stopper(40) inserted to the stopper holes of the rear side of the frame, and having a protrusion(42) formed on one end thereof and protruding frontward. A rear end of the ice making tray is twisted by the stopper so as to separate ice. A marking part is formed on a rear side of the stopper to mark horizontal mounting direction of the protrusion. The ice making tray rotates by interlocked with a knob installed on a front side of the supporting frame to separate ice. A fixing part(24) is formed on a rear side of the ice making tray on a same plane with the ice making tray, and hooked by protrusion of the stopper on ice ejecting operation to execute ice ejecting operation. Direction of mounting of the stopper to the stopper hole determines rotating direction of the ice making tray to separate ice.
