PURPOSE: An exhaust manifold is provided to prevent crack caused due to the repeated thermal expansion and contraction of the exhaust manifold, while reliability preventing leakage of exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust manifold comprises the first pipe(#1) and second to fourth pipes which are arranged in a line, and is coupled to a cylinder head through the first flange(8) to fourth flanges. The second flange and the third flange are formed integrally with each other, and the first flange is formed independently from the second flange. The fourth flange is formed independently from the third flange. The first flange and the fourth flange have elongated holes(10,11), respectively, which are opposed to each other on the inclined axial line. Bolts(14,15) are coupled to the cylinder head through the elongated holes.
