PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device is provided to easily send substrates of the liquid crystal display device by forming thin substrates while preventing the thin substrates from being transformed. CONSTITUTION: A color filter substrate is formed by bonding a first substrate(51a) to a first dummy substrate(52a) by using an adhesive(53). A TFT substrate(62) is formed by bonding a second substrate(51b) opposite to the first substrate to a second dummy substrate(52b) by using the adhesive. The color filter substrate is bonded to the TFT substrate by using a sealant(55). Thereafter, the first dummy substrate and the second dummy substrate are removed.
