<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for surely monitoring a load. SOLUTION: As to this load monitoring method, a first point of time when a current value exceeds a first threshold and/or a second point of time when the current value drops below a second threshold is measured, and the measured first point of time and/or the second point of time are compared with each other and/or with other variables to check plausibility for monitoring the load.
