PURPOSE: A brake booster for a vehicle is provided to prevent lowering of braking force from a stop of an engine by generating negative pressure until stopping the vehicle during traveling with a vacuum pump. CONSTITUTION: A brake booster for improving braking force of a vehicle with negative pressure comprises a gear part(11) equipped to a driving shaft(10) of the vehicle; a vacuum pump(20) generating negative pressure by interlocking to the gear part; and a vacuum pipe(22) delivering negative pressure of the vacuum pump. Negative pressure for braking is generated until the vehicle stops in case of stopping an engine in driving by mounting the vacuum pump. Therefore, the brake booster prevents lowering of braking force from stopping the engine in driving.
