PURPOSE: An extension tube for a vacuum cleaner is provided to easily expand and contract an extension tube by installing a slidable plate and rail terminal at the part where a first extension tube is connected to a second extension tube. CONSTITUTION: A first power transmission unit is installed in a first extension tube(102), and is connected to a suction unit. A second power transmission unit is installed in a second extension tube(103). One end and the other end of the second power transmission unit is coupled with the first extension tube and a handle control unit, respectively, and transmits power to the suction unit.
