PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered substrate having high degree of porosity. SOLUTION: A slurry is formed by kneading a metal nickel powder at low viscosity and high temperature to such an extent that gelatinization is not caused using a thermally gelatinizable thickener such as methyl cellulose to prevent breakdown of a chain structure of the metal nickel powder. The slurry is then cooled down to increase its viscosity and applied to a core conductive body.
