PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which facilitates the control of dimensions of a joint means provided between a rotary shaft and a worm. SOLUTION: A hard plate 50 is contained in a plate containing recess 29j provided in an upper surface 29j of an inversion side rotary unit 29. More in detail, after grease is injected into the plate containing recess 29j, the hard plate 50 is pushed into the plate containing recess 29j and placed in it so as to be unrotary relatively to the inversion side rotary unit 29. An end surface 6b of a rotary shaft 6, a ball 36, and the hard plate 50 are always brought into contact with each other. That is, a rotary shaft 6 is brought into contact with the inversion side rotary unit 29 without a gap via the ball 36 and the hard plate 50.
