PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aperture antenna whose radiation directional characteristic in a wide-angle area in a main-beam radiation direction is improved by cutting off a radio wave unwantedly radiated from the surface of a radome outer-circumference flange part with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A conductive member 20a is formed in a U shape over the flange part 22 at the entire circumference of a radome 21. A skin material 23 and a core material 24 are similar to those of a conventional structure. Almost all of unwanted radiation waves radiated from the flange part 22 are radiated from the aperture side of the antenna as shown in Fig. 1. The reason is that the aperture face and the opposite side are the flange (made of metal) of the reflector of the antenna and then unwanted radiation waves from it are cut off. Unwanted radio waves are radiated from the flange flank of the radome as well, the radiation can be prevented by employing the U shape covering the whole flange.
