PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a small-sized housing capable of passing through a smaller through hole. SOLUTION: A thickness dimension of the whole of a lower wall 33 can be made smaller than that in a conventional connector to pass the housing 31 through the smaller through hole 19 by making a region in front of lance 37 as open parts 38 of the lower wall 33 of the housing 31. A rib 39 is projectingly provided between the open parts 38 corresponding to adjacent cavities 32A and 32A, and thereby a creeping distance between the cavities 32A and 32A becomes larger, and when water is splashed on the connector 30, generation of leak current between both of the cavities 32A is prevented. The rib 39 projects at only at intermediate position of the adjacent cavities 32A and 32A, and thereby the rib 39 is difficult to interfere with a hole edge part of the through hole 19 and upsizing of the through hole 19 can be avoided.
